Name Server Reject Reason codes

RC field in the third word of the sense data is the name server reject response code

0x00 Look at the BBBB BBBB field for error number (errno.h)
0x01 Invalid command This may be an AIX or switch problem Contact AIX SAN support
0x02 Invalid Version -This may be an AIX or switch problem, Contact AIX SAN support
0x03 Logical Error This is a SAN switch issue, Contact SAN support
0x04 Invalid IOU size This may be an AIX or switch problem Contact AIX SAN support
0x05 Logical busy The name server is busy and can not service the request. Check the switch to find out why the name server is busy. If this problem persists,Contact AIX SAN support
0x07 Protocol error This may be an AIX or switch problem, Contact AIX SAN support
0x09 Unable to perform request. There was no data in the name server database to satisfy the query. This is a SAN or Target device issue. Check to see that the target device is registered with the switch names server. Contact SAN support
0x0b Command not supported The name server does not support the command Contact AIX SAN support

The Name Server is a function of the switch and it has rejected a request (LS_RJT) from the device/protocol driver. The reason code field ( RC) in the sense data contains reason code.
